Details:
Coming from all corners of the continent and fusing at the epicenter of the global breakbeat scene, P-Bone & Devine have been secretly cultivating something fresh and new for the ripe and ready ears of Orlando.

P-Bone aka Perry Domingo of Loveclub, The Domingo Brothers and CDee & Dove has been firmly established in the dance music scene since moving to Orlando from San Francisco in 1991. In 1994, Platipus Records UK picked up Loveclub''s debut release, "The Journey". The track went on to be a worldwide hit and has since been licensed to over 15 mix compilations. Soon after P-Bone and brother, Chris Domingo, started their own successful record label, DB Records/Breaks Collective. Now it looks as though his most recent work with dj/producer Devine is going to catapult him back into the spotlight once again.

Devine''s innovative style clearly marks the beginning of a new generation of breaks music. Devine aka Humphrey Gomez grew up in Puerto Rico appreciating reggae and hip- hop, but was forever changed when he was introduced to Orlando''s electronic music scene at a rave in 1994. Drawn to electronic dance music, Devine began experimenting with djing, drum machines and then later graduated to professional computer based music production. With over 200 songs written, he decided to submit some of the songs he had written to Breaks Collective. After P-Bone listened to his tracks, he was picked up immediately and soon began collaborating with P-Bone on the label''s next release, "Breaks Collective #018". After a few months of writing they had created some amazing new tracks, but they felt they were still missing one final element. They needed a vocalist. P-Bone had heard rumblings through the grapevine about an up and coming vocalist/producer named emilyPLAY from the Ft. Lauderdale area. After hearing the short demo she had produced, P-Bone knew she was the one he wanted to work with on the new album.

Emily Clough comes from an entirely different background than most dance producers who usually start off as djs. Formal musical training since childhood has given her a distinct edge in the competitive world of dance music. With a college education in music composition, vocal performance and a new degree in audio engineering, she is now producing and recording all of her music and vocals electronically. Unlike her earlier years growing up in Maine, with just a piano and a four track, she now has a full arsenal of software and recording gear. At the Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach last year, one of the world''s top djs, DJ Tiësto played the very first dance track she ever wrote at a private party hosted by Miami''s #1 dance radio station, Party 93.1. Tiësto assured the radio station execs that "her future was very bright". With the new undeniably talented lineup of P-Bone & Devine featuring emilyPLAY, the future is certainly brighter than ever. The group is currently transforming their recording studio wizardry into an electronic live show to promote the new Breaks Collective #018 release.
