“Change Is Always From The Heart” was the first song I’ve written in 30 years. Why it took so long to get back to writing, I don’t have an answer to, but I think this happens a lot. People get busy with life, family, work, and they push their passion aside. Temporarily they say, and then before you know it, 30 years go by.
I wrote this song last year on a Wednesday in July. I remember not being very happy that day and the first line explains that sad but true reason. But something happened after finishing that song. Everything became clear. I knew I needed to start writing again.
Don’t wait to start doing what will make you happy. Don’t let time slip away. As you get older, you start to realize how precious time is.
