Biography - November 2008
Elder Fletcher Brinson, Jr., joined Life Church of God in Christ in May 2004. He is a faithful member in good standing and serves under the anointing of Pastor Ron M. Gibson.
Brother Fletch was born in Hollywood, CA., reared in a two-parent home that instilled in him Bible Christian principles and moral values. At the warm age of 21 he accepted his calling and has been ministering every since.
Ordained Elder in 1986 by the late Bishop W. Russell, New Bethel Churches of God in Christ, Apostolic, Richmond, Ca. Brother Fletch’s impeccable reputation afforded him various influential positions such as the appointment to State Youth President among a myriad of other decision-making roles. His faithfulness at Life Church caught the attention of his Pastor and he was recommended to the Ordination Board and was ordained by the acting presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, of the Churches of God In Christ, Inc. in 2007.
Educationally, Brother Fletch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and has been a professional Realtor since 1989.
Brother Fletch is as an accomplished guitarist. Musically branded, as “Fletchman”, his gift has afforded him opportunities to play with artists such as Bishop Paul Morton, award winners Yolanda Adams, Mary/Mary, Vicki Winans, the late Mattie Moss-Clark, and A-Tone & Team Jesus. Other performances include: The Gospel Music Workshop of America, and the House of Blues Gospel Brunch. Currently, Fletch serves as lead guitarist at Life Church and is finishing his first solo CD project. The expected release date is late fall of 2008.
In conclusion, Fletch is a god-fearing man who places emphasis on the importance of extending salvation to the lost. To know him is to love him and his interesting sense of humor. His life is a walking testament of God’s favor and anointing. He is happily married 25 years and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters.
