Scheryll Anderson is a musician (electric and acoustic guitar), poet, and singer/songwriter, grew up in a musically gifted family. Her mother was an opera singer and her father was a poet and lyricist. She has traveled throughout Europe and the United States as a fashion model, and is a familiar face on the runway and in print media. As a SAG/AFTRA actress, she has performed in television commercials and feature films.
Her history in the music industry covers a wide range of experiences, from promoting the steel drum music of Trinidad & Tobago, to working as an A&R Representative for King James Productions in Philadelphia. The experience that she acquired by working in the music business, has motivated her to form two businesses, Blazing Passion Publishing and Dream Quest Recording Studio.
Scheryll became a musician with the intention of sharing her father’s songs. As that process unfolded, she began writing original songs and poetry to express the profound feelings, thoughts, and emotions that consumed her. She was drawn to write songs about difficult situations that occur in relationships, which are not often brought to light. Certainly, there are couples that have loving, thoughtful, and honest relationships, in which they feel safe enough to openly communicate with one another. Yet, Scheryll’s songs are written to awaken and enlighten, and to offer hope to couples that are not in fulfilling relationships, and who come to the realization that they should consider moving on with their lives to make room for true love.
By means of Blazing Passion Publishing, Scheryll is seeking a songwriting contract to give those with great voice a new song to sing. The following productions feature Scheryll''s music, written for her father''s love songs, and her original creations. Scheryll’s songs project a mellow Country feeling with a piquant touch of Rock & Blues.
My Father''s Love Songs
Scheryll’s mother kept a large black trunk, which belonged to her father, in a bedroom of the house where she grew up. It was filled with papers that she later discovered was a treasure chest filled with his handwritten lyrics. In 1994, her mother handed his precious lyrics over to her, so that she could continue her father’s dream of having his lyrics and melodies put to music. While typing her father’s lyrics, she became inspired to write her own poetry and lyrics (prior to that, she had never written poetry or songs). At that time, she became motivated to study music and learned to play the guitar, in order to add musical arrangements to her father’s lyrics, and to fulfill his lifelong passion of having his songs recorded by contemporary artists, and played on the radio and in films. Her father was a prolific lyricist, and many of his poems and lyrics were dedicated to his beloved wife. The love and devotion that they shared is what inspires great romantic novels. Scheryll has taken up were her father has left off, so that everyone who listens to his music can experience the depth of his romantic core.

Her soulful and heartfelt lyrics will touch your heart, stir your thoughts, and have you question whether or not your relationship is giving you all the love and passion that you desire.
