There is a sound coming out of Baltimore, MD that thunders and answers back to the call of worship. From the creature back to the Creator rises a sound, not just the sound of music, not just entertainment, but the sound of sincere worship. This sound of worship might be described as a strong wind in a smoke filled industry. Spiritually rejuvenating, simplistic to say the least, and defined in the broadest perspective as a sound crafted by the Holy Spirit in The Sounds of Living Waters. Armed with skilled songsmiths, anointed psalmists and minstrels, the group’s desire is to return the song of the Lord to His church and pierce the hearts of sinners so close to touch, yet so hard to reach. The Sounds of Living Waters offers its listeners an opportunity to step out of the norm of traditional gospel music and experience authentic worship with each song off of their highly anticipated album debut “The Releasing of Many Waters.”
On November 8th the debut CD project “The Releasing of Many Waters”, will be officially released to the world. The Sounds of Living Waters are gearing up to consistently serve God in the way that He has anointed them to do so. With no other agenda than to sing His song in the earth and lead His people to praise and worship Jesus Christ as Lord and soon coming King of Kings. With fresh new tracks like “High & Lifted Up!” & “Let Us Worship” the group is aiming to reclaim the kingdom of music for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Lead passionately by Elder Shawn Everette Rogers, who has recently released his own music project, The Sounds of Living Waters is just beginning their voyage but has vowed to never journey far from worship. It has been a long process from one novice musician, no original music and a few singers to a full band, a new sound and a God breathed CD project. They know that they are headed for dimensions of worship and music that has been untapped in Gospel and Christian genres of music.
