After literally a year in the making, my debut album "The Introspective Year" is now complete. It is quite a ride, filled with adventure, imagination, excitement, and emotion. I invite you to take a listen and be taken to another place. If afterwards you find your creative juices flowing, then I have succeeded in passing on the endless torch of inspiration. You will not be disappointed.
The origins of the name "Clandestiny" are solely original through myself. It is a combination of the words, Clandestine and Destiny... and the meaning I give forth is, a ''hidden fate'', a secret destiny... I think there are forces at work in the world that are hidden, like gravity for instance, but on a deeper level... Things that exist in the world, and within all of us... Random events, hidden talents, deeper meanings... these are things that I am drawn to.
I''m a self-taught music-aficionado. I listen to music all the time, and when I''m not listening, I''m making it, or re-creating it. Becoming a musician changed my life and who I am today. The majority of my friends I''ve met through our mutual love of music and I love them all dearly for the life lessons and memories they''ve given me.
I think the thing I love most about music is the creative process, and I find alot of joy and fulfilled-passion in producing and arranging songs and ideas. I am very prolific and have hundreds of unused ideas that I hope to someday put to use in song-form.
The biggest thing for me is MELODY MELODY MELODY. The music I tend to write has been described as ''haunting, dark, sincere, brooding, original, unique and mood-invoking". I would have to say I am happy with those statements, because that is exactly what is swimming around in my head...
