Within a few weeks, they came across the guitar/bass team of Greg and Tony, and together, the five were united and agreed to forge ahead with a band that would brush aside the "typical" 5-piece line up containing two guitarists and replace it with the smooth, unique sound of two bassists. Has it been done before? Sure. Has it ever succeeded? Not until now...

"If a band can have two guitarists, why not two bassists?", asks C.i.''s lead bassist, Mike. "Besides, most guitarists, except Greg, are egomaniacs and control-freaks. I''ve been through dozens of them, besides bassists just have better personalities. We''re cool, laid-back and have rhythm." Chemical Imbalance has often been compared to the likes of Incubus, Sublime, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, however their sound can be best described as Beauty having sex with The Beast.
