ABOUT CHYNAH DOLL
Independent artist Chynah Doll is one of the hottest new acts to hit the Atlanta, GA music scene lately. An r&b/hip hop performer, Chynah is a native of Newark, New Jersey currently residing in Atlanta, GA. She’s been performing for several years in the Atlanta area to include performances at the Baby Grande Piano Bar, Ritz Club, Crowe’s Next Mega Plex, The Sweet Auburn Festival, and 20 Grand Night Club. “I Can’t Wait”, Chynah is busy touring and putting the finishing touches on her full-length debut cd. Says Chynah, “I felt the need to put out an ep first because a lot of people ask about purchasing my music when I perform, also because I want to get my name out there a little more before I release the full-length album.” Chynah is also interested in acting and writing songs for other artists. “That’s one of my biggest dreams, to write for other artists”, says Chynah. “I wrote all of the songs on my upcoming album. I write about my personal experiences, it’s all from the heart”. Chynah says her upcoming cd is for the true lovers of r&b music. “I’ve got something for everyone on the ep and the upcoming album. It’s a good mix, its dance stuff, uptempo club joints, sensual ballads, and hip-hop flavored stuff. It’s all there. I grew up listening to everything and everybody. My influences include: Toni Braxton, Whitney, Mariah, Lauryn, Brandy, Janet, Miki Howard, Jeffrey Osborne, D’Angelo, Glen Jones and many more."
A gifted actress and student of the William Reynolds acting and talent school in Atlanta, Chynah has appeared in several movies to include Howard Stern’s “Private Parts” and HBO’s, “FlashBack”. She has performed in music videos to include Lord’s Of The Underground’s, “Chief Rocka”. Chynah started her career as a model for Montgomery Ward Mall, Landover, MD. She’s done print work, numerous fashion and talent shows, and looks forward to doing much more.
Says Chynah, "I''ve done alot, I''ve worked hard and now I''m releasing a cd that I am very excited about!
Chynah’s debut album will be in stores early 2009.
