Los Angeles heavy metallers Pinhead are getting a lot of attention with the cover of their current CD,
Ascent From Hell,which was designed by William Fleming, one of America''s premiere 3-D computer graphics and animation experts. The band members are avid comic book collectors, and elements of sci-fi fantasy abound in the group''s subject matter. "We create a comic that goes with each CD, so you can listen and read a cool fantasy story," said spokesperson for Pinhead, adding, "We want to give an option to people who don''t want to hear people''s political beliefs or personal love failures."
Pinhead is currently finishing up material for their next CD, entitled Enter Abadox, The Sentries of a Dark Cosmos, which the band describes as "a dark fantasy album in the vein of Tool with Egyptian and Arabic melodies." You can contact the band via e-mail-kc@https://www.tradebit.com
