The spirit of AV existed long before its manifestation. The four band members: Brandon Turner (vocals), Christopher Love (lead guitar), Michael ''Seven'' Richardson (bass), and Michael Castillo (drums) grew up in Tucson, Arizona, attending the same grammar school. The experience and trials of growing up together provided a strong bond, laying the foundation for the AV sound and stage performance, which is strikingly professional, given their relative youth. AV recently released their debut EP, "BeLIEve Me" in 2008. The title of the EP suggests people need to question what others sell to them as truth. The album is a thought-provoking, classical-meets-modern approach to rock music. Playing together for over nine years, the band is constantly striving for originality and uniqueness in their songwriting and performances. The technique and talent obvious at an AV show separates them from the local band collective. Each member''s love and passion for music showcases personal discipline and individual style, resulting in an eclectic combination and fresh perspective. It''s not all about the music...the band is also serious about their stage performance; the entire experience of AV live is both provocative and entertaining.
