Who Is Curke Dudley?
Curke Dudley (Also Known As Kirk Dudley), The Co-Writer Of The Theme Song Entitle “Alaskan Pipeline”. In The Movie Pipe Dreams, Which Stars Gladys Knight, Is A Young Songwriter, Musician The Artist Who Dedicated His Life And Talents To God In 1983. Curke Started His Musical Career At The Age Of 15; He Began Playing With Blues Artist Sonny Boy Williamson On Weekend. He Played In Georgia At The Age Of 15, He Left Montgomery For The Summer And Played With Bobby Williamson And The Hitchhikers. He Return For The Summer From Florida And Continued High School At Sidney Lanier.
The Bright Lights And Glamour Of New York Seemed To Beckon To Curke. After Taking The South “By Storm,” He Felt He Could Make It To The Top In The “Big Apple.” In New York, At The Apollo Theater, He Met Ollie And The Nightingales And Began Touring With Them. The Long Trail Of Recording Artists He Performed On Concerts With Over The Years Included: Santana, Carla Thomas, Pink Floyd, The Allman Brothers, Frank Zappa, Mother Of Intervention, And The Doors. As A Staff Musician For Sax’s Records He Played On Isaac Hayes’s Christmas song, “The Mistletoe And Me”, And Luther Ingram’s Hit Record, “Ain’t That Loving You“. He Also Played Bass On The Hit Record Produced By Al Bell Entitled, “The 60-Minute Man.”
Since Then, He Has Played As A Solo Act In Churches Around The U S, Such As Springfield Massachusetts, Detroit, Michigan, Lansing, Michigan, Dayton And Columbus Ohio, Pomona, Oakland, San Bernadino, California And Atlanta, Georgia. When God Called Curke To A Life Of Salvation In November Of 1983, And A Ministry Of Music, He Was Filled With The Holy Spirit And Became Sold-Out To Jesus Christ, And The Work Prepared For Him In The Gospel Kingdom. Since That Time, He Has Played With A Gospel Group Called Cinque Cullar And Tribe of Judah. He Has Served And Is Currently Serving As Minister Of Music, And An Active Member Of Greater Macedonia Miracle Ministries, Where The Honorable Bishop Leo S. Lewis Is Pastor. His Vision Is Simply To Do The Will Of God And Minister To Others Through His Gospel Inspired Contemporary Gospel Music.
