The Produkt was formed in 2004 by Drew Maletz of Cambridge, MA. Drew did all of the songwriting and much of the production for the debut album, Pitch Class, with help from Aaron Soloway and John Cogliano. The vocals are sung by Emily Thompson, currently a student at Emerson College in Boston. In a reversal of the typical band timeline, The Produkt began by producing Pitch Class, and is now performing in Boston and New York.
