Based in Los Angeles, P.S. Nevermind has cultivated a following bringing to the Sunset Strip and other venues around town its unique brand of experimental rock sensibilities and dancefloor-ready beats. Featuring two vocalists/guitarists and a rock solid rhythm section, P.S. Nevermind has been known to experiment with many different styles but their sophomore release Tabloids shows a cohesiveness and maturity that speaks to big things in their future. Blankenship’s songwriting and vocals are stronger than ever, and Lee’s style blends with it in a way that is really P.S. Nevermind’s own. Lee’s “Back to School” showcases a lush, haunting string arrangement, the way the title track “Tabloids” creatively drops in its beat, the quiet sentimentality of “Blues for Mama”; the band has begun to really find its stride. With a reputation for rowdy live shows featuring creative reinterpretations of its songs and guest performers, this is shaping up to be a very exciting chapter in the life of this band.
