Micheal Franti, Spearhead

“Beautiful Day” is the much-anticipated release from Pamela Parker, cultivating
her style fronting and musical directing East coast sensation, Roots A’Risin’ (Folk-Funk-World-Reggae-Rock), for 8 years, while getting two degrees in music: Vocal Performance and Commercial Music.

Songs like Beautiful Day, Dream of Me, You Are My Life, and Mary Jane Blues allow Pamela to share with everyone her array of styles. Mellow Pop Rock, Spanish/Classical/Flamenco, Love Ballad, and Blues respectively, this release is very well recieved by the AAA/Adult Alternative audience.

Songs about life, love and being the change you wish to see in the world are what you will hear on Beautiful Day. It''s got songs that will inspre and be hits on the radio (Trk #3, Beautiful Day), straight up blues (Trk #2, Mary Jane Blues), love ballads (Trk #6, The WAy of Love, Trk #8, Love Returns & Trk #10, You Are My Life), break up songs (Trk #12,It''s Been A Long Time), songs with stories (Trk#5, He Rolled On) and more.

According to One Love Lifestyles Magazine she, "...keeps you in the spot between bliss and reality." Pamela writes all of her songs, but is not just some sissy acoustic singer/songwriter.
