Originally from Independence, KY. where she performed with Bluegrass bands, Muddy River and the New Coon Creek Girls, Pam moved to Nashville and helped form the all-female country group Wild Rose, signed to Capitol Records and nominated for a Grammy and Academy of Country Music Best New Vocal Group. Sang back-up for Patty Loveless before recording her first solo CD, The Long Road on Vanguard and her 2nd solo CD, Time of Our Lives on OMS Records. She formed her own bluegrass/folkgrass/acoustic band called the Long Road. Pam went on to perform on the Grand Ole Opry as the duet vocalist/guitarist/banjoist with Hall of Fame artist, Porter Wagoner up until his death in 2008. This is Pam''s long-awaited bluegrass CD featuring guest artists, Dolly Parton, Marty Raybon, Dale Ann Bradley (IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year 2007), Steve Gulley and a host of top Nashville players including blazing acoustic guitarist, Bryan Sutton, Fiddle/Mandolin aces Aubrie Haynie and Andy Leftwich (of Ricky Scaggs) as well as multi-instrumentalist, Wanda Vick (formerly of Wild Rose). Nancy Gardner (former drummer/vocalist with Wild Rose, co-produced this CD with Pam and is also featured on vocals. Mark Burchfield holds it together on the upright "doghouse" bass.
