ROCK: Progressive Rock, ROCK: Psychedelic

Details:
Pseudo Sun was formed by Darxtar bassist Juba after he split from the band in 1994.
In 1995 he entered a studio with old friends Patric Danielsson on drums and Bjorn Jacobson on guitar.
During the spring of -95 they recorded 7 tracks that Juba planned to release on CD. There was a lot of interest from record-companies but little was achieved.
When 1996 came Juba had recruited a band consisting of Gunnar Oberg on guitar and Calle Thalén on drums. They decided to make another journey into the studio to get more tracks on tape. It resulted in 5 new songs. Thalén left the band after the recordingand Pseudo Sun were left with no drummer. Many drummers were considered until Sigge Olsson joined the band.
Since record companies didn´t show interest in releasing the material, Juba decided on releasing it himself. The debut CD " Future memoirs" is available from pseudo_sun@https://www.tradebit.com.
Olsson and öberg left the band in August 1997 and Juba recruited a brand new band. Mats Jassa Singh was drafted in on guitar, vocals and Erca Lindesvärd joined in on drums.
In May ´98 they entered the studio to record the next album, to be called "Atomic dogs don´t bark".
In march 00 PS made a mini-tour in Sweden with legendary Hawkwind saxophonist Nik Turner, playing a mix of PS songs and old Hawkwind songs. The tour went really well.
More gigs followed with a definite high-light at the 4th North German Hawk Fan Festival in Hamburg in June.
In december PS played a few gigs, and so the most eventful year was over. In ´01 PS took a short break, but gathered together again in March for a gig. A week later Mats Jassa Singh left the band to pursue a career of his own. That started the tediuos task of finding a new guitar player, which proved to be not so easy. Typically enough, after auditioning guitarists for a couple of months, PS finally found keyboardist Jens Lindstrand!
Juba also decided that the version Of "Atomic Dogs Don´t Bark" didn´t sound good enough, so they finished 2 left-over backing tracks to complete the album. The album was released in September 2002.
Eric left the band in November, and was replaced by Michael Dahlquist, formerly Scudiero.
At the same time guitarists Stefanos and Jakob Forsell joined the band, making the sound much harder.
Recordings started at the follow-up to "ADDB" in November 2003.
