When growing up, and asked what I wanted to be, A Rapper was''nt even a thought! I''m riding up to Chicago in my friends Mitsubishi Montero with my stuff packed in the back ready to move into my new appartment! I arrive and look around and think to myself, this is really hood! Buildings not to clean, people standin on the corner hustlin, shouts from around the corner, this was it. I spent half my days working, then nights on my third floor 3 bedroom apartment watching my roomates and sometimes different dealers laying down tracks. I remember seeing pounds on the table at times, bags here and there, Glock''s or Pistols laying out, just sittin listenin, thinking up verses in my head as they would rap. Their would be times everyone would be Freestylin, sayin, ''what up Mike?, bust a verse'', and new to it all would say some cat in the hat rhymes, ending my verse quick, but started to really discover my passion more and more when I would practice to myself over a beat or song determined to be better next time we all freestyled, these were my early music days! After a few months went by and I felt more confident in my rappin skills, I''d be goin on for minutes at a time, getting everyone excited when I rapped, askin me to get on a track or two, and thats when the love for it came into play. I remember hearing my voice for the first time on a track, excited as hell, like ''damn, thats me''! It came to a point where i was being invited by different types of cats to go to studios, stop at their spot and write a track, or just ride around and freestyle, and thats when i found my name. I was ridin around chillin with my guy one day and just zonin out lookin at a reflection of me in the passenger seat rappin lookin at his spinin Davinci rims thinkin, ''those rims just like me'', keep spinnin, even when stopped'', and it hit me, I am Davinci, a little more thinking about it, it was perfect as far as me being Italian and making masterpieces! After a few tracks with people here and their, I started making tracks of my own, I admit, it started getting addicting. I found myself writting all the time, coming up with new ideas, chorus''s, writting verses all the time at work, and it seemed like it was a full time job i loved. 10 songs turned to 20, then 20 to forty and now at 51,not satisfied yet, I want more. It was like a music journal, songs about what I went thru at times, things i''ve done, places i''ve seen, everything. 2006 I was picked up on a traffic violation, coming to realize i had a prior warent out for my arrest, was sent to cook county for a little while, it opened my eyes wider to a bigger place I seen 4 myself. After gettin out, I moved to an appartment in the suburbs of Orland Park, where I knew I could stay out of trouble and focus on music 100 percent. It''s more of a drive for me to be great given the stereotypical views! If someone asked me today what i wanna be when I grow up, Id tell em, ''a Rapper''
