Defunct Generation''s founding three members got together in 2006. The guitarist Todd Garrison and bassist Mason Favinger had been writing and performing together in their previous band Piss Poor for several years. After playing a show with Brent Docter''s old band Equal Eyes, they immediately became friends and started writing for their new project. After a year locked in the basement writing three albums worth of material they recruited drummer Skye Stinson. The band is currently expanding their home studio in order to begin recording the next album with plans to go on tour for the release of the first album.
