Details:
Based in San Francisco, Dogwood Mercy started in November of 2001. Alice, Pat and Marc started sifting through ideas with a limited knowledge of each other. Marc showed up with just a four-string banjo, Pat with an acoustic, and Alice with a bunch of notes, lyrics and ideas. The result was a folky, raw, and sincere approach to music.
Currently, Dogwood Mercy has released "The Dogwood Mercy EP" a six song compilation of the bands latest efforts, and is working on finishing their first full length album. The next batch of songs will include more drums, percussion and more electric guitar along with banjo and acoustic guitar.
