A native of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York,Greg Rashaid Bradshaw a.k.a Ra Element had a natural affinity for rap music. He began rapping at the age of nine and did his real performance at age thirteen under the infulence of old school rappers such as Slick Rick, KRS One and Run DMC, just to name a few.
Although he''s been performing locally at bars and clubs in New York City, it was at age twenty-one when Ra decided to launch his music career. In ninety six, he established his own recording studio named, "Toyz Makin Noize Studio", which he completed his first demo cd entitled "Chemical Elements," he calls a true accomplishment . Even though he didn''t earn the street recogntion, he believes all the hardship is paying dues.
Now in two thousand and four he''s back with a brand new cd entitled, "Back2Reality" produced by Ra Element and all credits due to Ra Element and to top it off he''s on his own label, Enlightenment Records.
Ra Element is about ready as ever to drop the bomb so be prepared!
