Major Moves recording artist Rook is an amazing talent. Music runs in through his blood. He is the great nephew of the late Robert McFerrin. Mr. McFerrin was the first African American to sign with the Metropolitan Opera. Mr. McFerrin worked with legends such as Sidney Poitier and Harry Belafonte. Rook is also the cousin of multi grammy award winner Bobby McFerrin. Bobby is well known for his mega hit âDonât Worry Be Happyâ and for his theme song to the âCosby Showâ.
Rook is ready to continue his family music tradition by giving the public what it desires. He is a skilled vocalist , song writer and plays the guitar as well. His flow and talent is what the industry has been waiting for. He is fresh and hits hard with his own style. Rook likes to give thanks to his fans, for without you there would be no Rook. Rook has and will continue to work with some of the best producers in the business. His new single 'Back For Da Tip' was produced by St. Louis producer of the year Laudieâ. Laudie has worked with artist such as TPAINâ,FLO RIDA and Huey just to name a few. Rook also works with Beastaz who are a team of producers signed to Geffen Records. Another one of his producers, Carl Borden has produced for several stars including his next project with Dave Tolliver (MEN AT LARGE). Last but not least he has worked for up and coming producer âBran Nuâ who is the cousin of Bangladesch(Busta Rhymes last album).
Rook is prepared to burst onto the scene and can be seen live as he will be on the upcoming tour with TI,FLO RIDA and Jeezy.
