Ron Bertrand''s been playing music every since he was a kid! While in High School in Beaumont, Texas he started a Rock band called the "Rullettes". They played everything from proms to beach bars along the Gulf coast from High Island to Galveston. However along the way Ron joined the Air Force and settled down in Miami where he got interested in the Jimmy Buffett music and lifestyle. Later he moved to Belize and lived on the island of Caye Caulker where he wrote many songs about his "Belizean" experiences... yeah, lot of "drinkin'' songs" but hey, we all love drinking songs, right? A CD, "What We Belize In", was the result and it''s a darn fun CD to this day so if you can find it on the Net... get it. Now fast-forward to the present. Ron recently performed at a Parrothead event down in Kemah Texas and it got him fired up to complete the "trop-rock" oriented CD he had been working on the past year. This CD, "Tequila Tonight, Tomorrow We Ride!", is definitely for the Jimmy Buffett-Parrothead inclined. However it will also be enjoyed by anyone who likes easy-listening "folk rock" only with a tropical theme. If you were to only have one Trop-Rock CD, this one should be it!
