Northwest singer, songwriter and pianist, Raymond Hayden has been entertaining fans around the world with his signature style of melodic-pop rock piano and vocal blends. With the impressionistic sway of George Winston, the poetic depth of Pink Floyd, and the pop influence of Elton John, Raymond has arguably dug deep and wide into the hearts and minds of audiences from Seattle, Washington, to Frankfurt, Germany and beyond.
Raymond''s upcoming record is a piano-based Adult Contemporary Pop album, due in stores summer of 2005. The release is eagerly anticipated by fans that have this to say about Raymond''s music:
"(Raymond''s music has) the perfect blend of passion and precision."
"Equivalent to the mastery of George Winston and Michael Allen Harrison."

Raymond is currently working on his highly anticipated Adult Contemporary Pop album, due in stores summer of 2005. The release will be followed up with website and newsletter promotions, live performances, as well as radio and Northwest television appearances.

Raymond''s piano and vocal work spans a library of CD, video and movie recordings as well as live performances all over the U.S. and throughout Europe. Highlights of his career include concert openings for headliners such as Blue Oyster Cult, April Wine, Berlin, and Nazareth; writing, producing and arranging his own albums; and writing seven albums for "Lean and Fit" in less than one month for Century Fitness.

Aside from all his successes, Raymond is driven by the inspiration music brings people. Asked what inspires him, Raymond says, "I am inspired by: anyone who is "living" their dream, by music that makes me feel like someone has touched my very soul, and by anyone who doesn''t know the phrase: "I give up!""
Indeed, giving up has not been a part of Raymond''s music career vocabulary. At the age of nine, Raymond started playing and performing with the Marauders Drum & Bugle Corps, ultimately receiving the "Marine''s National Musical Excellence Award." At 18, Raymond joined the ARMY and moved to Europe to complete his four-year tour of duty. While serving overseas, he secured a keyboard position with popular rock band, Ambition. The band enjoyed several years performing throughout Europe while winning "Battle of the Bands" competitions, finally moving to the East Coast to continue touring for another 12 months.
Raymond eventually returned back home to the Northwest where he joined up with his long time friend and songwriter Eric Montgomery. For the next two years, they performed and recorded in each other''s original projects, Montgomery Park and NEVES.
"If you wake up each and every morning thinking about what it is that inspires you, chances are that you should be chasing it. Don''t let another day slip by without realizing your dream." - Raymond Hayden
In 1992, Raymond''s musical inspiration motivated him to return to college to earn his degree. As the recipient of numerous music scholarships, he focused on music theory, performance and classicism, while taking vocal and guitar lessons. Upon graduation, he was awarded the "Outstanding Student Award for Musical Excellence."
After college, he performed in various different musical groups throughout the Northwest, recording on albums with bands Bad Flowers, and Budapest West. Still wanting to see his vocal and piano work span across the entertainment spectrum, Raymond wrote music for short films as well as radio jingles, which soon earned a deal with Cliff Lenderman and Century Fitness to compose seven albums of music to be used on the "Lean and Fit" workout DVD''s (released in 2004).
"For as long as I can remember, music has inspired and defined the person that I am. Besides being my passion in life, it is an escape. Composing music is the vehicle through which I can identify the truly important aspects of life and bring them to light through melody." - Raymond Hayden
Raymond released his debut solo CD entitled: "A Doorway Through Your Tears" in 2002. An Adult Contemporary Instrumental album, Raymond debuted it to an excited audience on Seattle''s, Pat Cashman''a morning radio show. The album was also showcased on Q13/Fox''s morning television program with Walter Kelley. Raymond signed a distribution contract and tour with Borders Books and Music, while the album continues to sell widely online through https://www.tradebit.com and https://www.tradebit.com, as well as various other websites. Raymond''s popularity and sales also led to a half hour special on a Comcast cable show called " This Ain''t Kaoroke" with Pat Cashman.
