Over the last ten years she has honed her songwriting and performing skills. Her songwriting, arranging and vocal talents are on display in “IN HERE.”
When describing Nichole’s music, vocals and style; names like Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Norah Jones and Fiona Apple come up often. Nichole’s emotional and mature delivery is that of a true pro. Her timeless “Evi’s Song” won first place in a Utah songwriting contest. This song describes her feelings as she learned of the death of her full-term, yet unborn child.
Other songs on the album range from the difficulties of finding redemption in “Redeemed”, to her near death drowning in “Serenity”. She displays her versatility with an emotional blues driven “Rain” and some fun blues/country/funk in “Virginia”. Her classic ballad "Lonely Games" is a fan favorite.
