ABOUT NEVIS
Nevis is a Seattle-area alternative funk/rock band led by Ty Tate, who writes, performs, records, and produces all instruments and vocals on Nevis recordings entirely by himself (a method inspired by legendary artists like Stevie Wonder and Trent Reznor).
Ty had been a musician for only two years when he was accepted to the illustrious Virginia Governor''s Magnet School for the Arts. He gigged extensively in the southeastern United States with his own bands for years, and worked as an on-call musician. Currently, Ty plays guitar and bass primarily, and performs and records in studios in the Seattle area in addition to his Nevis work.
RADIO AIRPLAY
Nevis has received international airplay on many radio stations, including the United States but also in Canada and the United Kingdom.
