With three years of history now behind them, Singer - Dick Logan, Guitarist - John Perez, and Drummer - Steve Volponi made some needed improvements within the unit to allow the band to grow, and flourish outside of the Greater Los Angeles area. New York bassist Jeff Stella was called upon to fill the shoes of Bob Gianetti, who had to leave the Redneck Rolemodels for personal reasons during the recording of State Of Grace. Jeff has been a great addition to the band, and not only plays the songs, but plays them like he wrote them. It also enabled the band to be "Bi-Coastal". With Jeff, in New York, and the rest of the band in Los Angeles, I guess you can say the band is "Nationwide"!
With an enthusiastically infectious live show, the Rolemodels have established an impressive and loyal following. The band has been touring relentlessly up and down the Ca. coastline, and the East Coast, both as headliners, and supporting act for such performers as: Styx (House of Blues), Eddie Money, .38 Special, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jefferson Starship, Lee Rocker, Scotty Moore, The Beat Farmers, Coco Montoya, Tommy Castro, Southside Johhny, and Eric Burdon & the Animals.
The Redneck Rolemodels recently started the East Coast attack by headlining the first night of the Dewey Beach Music Conference, in Dewey Beach, DE, and the Seventh Annual Millenium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA. The Redneck Rolemodels have also appeared on The Howard Stern E! Tv Show, and contributed three new songs to an upcoming film "Tick Tock". The band''s first single "Run" from their self-titled debut - Redneck Rolemodels, is also featured in "Plan B" starring Jon Cryer.
The Redneck Rolemodels have released their sophomore CD "State Of Grace" March of 2004.
