Meet Joe Henschel… one of the day’s most promising and inspiring up and coming independent artists. With a powerful conviction for the lost and an open and humble spirit, Henschel’s lyrics make us reach to the outer limits of our souls and cry out for a Savior. One night while leading worship for a small home fellowship group, Henschel realized his passion for music and leading people into the Throne Room. He started his first band, Better Off Forgotten, in 2000, only a junior in high school. With Better Off Forgotten turned Living for Late turned Farewell Down, Joe Henschel became involved with many churches and ministries including Worship Generation at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Farewell Down was together for four years and they ministered to youth all over the country. Henschel’s desire for worship has lead him to be on staff at Horizon Christian Fellowship in Rancho Santa Fe as the Worship Assistant. He also has the privilege of traveling and leading worship as an independent worship leader to churches and ministries not only nationally but also worldwide in countries like Nigeria, Germany, Hungary, Scotland and England.
