BIO.....
Originally hailing from Scotland, Blu trained as a Dancer and then moved to London.
After globe trotting around the world dancing and singing for other people, she decided after a visit to her first Hip-Hop club that music was the only way forward.
On her return to London she gave up her dance career and lived a hermits life honing her skillz as a singer/songwriter trying to perfect her own individual style and voice.
"It took a while" she says!
A friend dragged her onto my space and she was instantly inundated with people wishing to collaborate with her!
"Its been overwhelming but being on there has been an inspiring and exciting experience she said"
The result being her debut album "Standing with Giants." An album with edge. A collaboration (in her words) "WITH SOME OF THE FRESHEST PRODUCERS AND MC''S from around the globe.
Its a mixture of Hip-Hop, Electronica and Other Wordly Experiences! Eclectic Hip-Hop is what I like to call it she says. I always have to reach for something Different, Fresh and Out of the box.

Unless you''ve been living on a deserted island for the past several months, you probably know who BLU is, if your one of the few that have not heard the hype about her forth coming album, then get to know. I knew this album was going to be dope. But to be honest, I didn''t know it was going to be this dope (ITS BIG).
Working together with an array of different talented production artists, both established and new comers, BLU has created a well rounded cutting edge Album. One to quench the thirst of the educated old school hip hoppers whilst also catering for the new breed searching for beats that blow speakers. But I would say its specially an album for tho''s that love well sung and provoking lyrics. Lyrics delivered with a infinitive structure of passion only BLU can deliver. This album has something for everyone. all I can say is NEW AGE HIP HOP with the vibes of the The golden age of hip hop (1986-1993) with a hint of experimental flow, I think the sugerhill gang would be proud.
