Ballgag ''n'' Chain Gang is a band from Victoria, B.C. Over the past two years, they have developed a reputation for fun, high-energy shows with broad audience appeal, drawing upon a wide range of musical styles including rock, folk, bluegrass, roots, hip-hop, punk and country. They have just released their self-titled debut album.
They have developed their own unique brand of music they have dubbed "Ho-tonk", with an emphasis on strong songwriting, tight vocal harmonies, creative instrumentation, and solid, danceable rhythms.
