UNSCANDAL was formed by Takayuki Suzu-ki in Tokyo in July, 1990. The first members were the organizations of four people of Vocal, Guitar, Bass, and Drums. The member who is on the register now by the founder member is only Takayuki Suzu-ki.
When the bassist seceded in 1991, a new member was recruited. At that time, two men hoped for the bassist joining. However, because being able to join by the bassist the member was only one, another man said, "I can play trombone", and joined the member by force. This man is Gajiro Satoh who is a present trombone charge member. Because he had joined UNSCANDAL, a present band style including the horn section was established.
As for UNSCANDAL in 1992-1998, the member change happened frequently.
Kanpey Hakama who is a current bassist joined a member in July, 1994. He is the eighth bassist.
In summer of 1998, Jackey Amano who is current drums joined member.
The first maxi single CD "UNSCANDAL UNO" was released in September, 1999 from independent label.
After this, we performed a gig tour energetically in all parts of Japan. There was year when the gigs had been done by about 100 performance a year, too.
April,2002, we won the sixth Grand Prix by a popularity vote by the listener in radio program "Yokohama Music Award" of FM Yokohama.
Summer and winter,2002, UNSCADNAL recorded of TV commercial music and narration of the fashion mall "BILLBOARD PLACE" in Niigata.
Spring, 2003, We supported recording of album "POP" of LÄ-PPISCH. And, Gajiro Satoh performed in a live tour in Japan of LÄ-PPISCH as a support trombone player. UNSCANDAL also performed as a front act in 8 venue.
New Year''s Day 2004, Kozzz who is current Guitarist joined member.
Opening theme song "SCRAMbLE" of TV animation "School Ramble" was released as "Yui Horie with UNSCANDAL" in October 2004. We created the lyrics and music production and performance. This song recorded the thirteenth place in Japanese music chart "ORICON". And "School Ramble" is very popular among an animation fan all over the world.
February 2005, 2nd album CD "UNSCANDAL" was released from KING RECORDS. The music "GORI-LLA" which was in this album was used for an ending theme music of movie "Sakigake! Cromartie highschool the movie".
The saxophone member seceded in April 2008, and Ken Kobayashi that was the saxophone player of former KEMURI is performing as a support member now.
