RNCD''s latest release, Sucktastic! (RoosterCow/ Backward Masking), is the result of a week of late nights spent at Acme Studios in Chicago recording with Kris Poulin (Metalux, Jim O''Rourke, The Means). Originally released as a five song double seven inch on white vinyl, the record is being re-released in CD format with three extra tracks.
From the straightforward rock of "16", to the female stalker confessional of "Pretender," from the punk poppy "Hitlicker" to the retro 50s sound of "F.U.," and the aggression of "White Man," RNCD is a band completely comfortable bouncing around from one punk rock genre to the next. Throw in two live songs recorded at the Fireside Bowl and you''ve got this expanded Sucktastic! CD.
