This album came out of working as a sound engineer in a small studio in the East End of London. Bands would sometimes ask my help with production, and I came to know how I wanted my own songs to sound. I later freelanced as an engineer, occasionally co-producing things as well.
Before that I was a busker travelling around southern Europe playing in bars, writing songs all the time, also playing a lot of Neil Young songs. When he came and played at Frejus I hitched right along the coast to see him. Then lived in Paris for a while, then joined a travelling theatre (which basically involved strumming at the side of the stage) and went on the road again. When I got back to England I played in bands - guitar, bass or keyboards - then got into engineering. Now I''m playing on the London acoustic scene, having taken time out recording, and warming up for a tour. The album came out in the uk October 20th ''08 on Autoglide Music.
