Inspired by the music of his family from his earliest memory, Argentinean born guitarist, Hernan Romero would become part of his families'' performing ensemble by the age of four. Romero''s mother, popular Spanish singer Estela Raval, all contributed to surrounding young Hernan with the best of musical environments.

Receiving classical guitar training in his youth from Roberto Lara, one of Andres Seogivia''s diciples , Romero became strongly influenced by the Flamenco style when the family moved from Buenos Aires to Cadiz, Andalusia, Spain.

"It''s pretty powerful, flamenco is very strong, and has it''s influence from the Middle East," says Romero. "The other side is the romantic aspect of Latin music, so it''s the best of both worlds."

In 1986 Hernan would move to the New York area. Soon after, he was playing with some of world''s finest guitarists, including Al Dimeola and Paco De Lucia. In 1998 he co-produced the "Guitar Trios" album with Paco De Lucia, John McLaughlin and Al Dimeola.

In 1999 Hernan co-produced Al Dimeola''s "Winter Nights" for the Telarc label, and completed Romero-Live at Trinity Church, his first recording for 333 Entertainment Inc., with a live ensemble at the landmark Trinity Church in New York City. This performance was specifically captured in hi-resolution format for multichannel release as well as stereo.
Featuring great performances by Romero on guitar, Romero-Live at Trinity Church also boasts the talents of:
Oscar Feldman- alto sax and flute
Mario Rodriguez -fretless six string bass
Gilad -percussion and cajon
Jorge Perez-additional cajon

Romero''s compositions for Live at Trinity present very intense music complimented by poetic instrumental arrangements, which is sure to influence aspiring guitarists for generations to come...

Listen and enjoy!
