Two Pound Planet was a power-pop band from Winston-Salem, NC that thrived on the local & regional scenes in the early 90''s. They broke up. Even if you don''t know the band, you know why. But before they broke up, they recorded a brilliant record with Mitch Easter (best known for his work with R.E.M., Game Theory, Pavement, the Connells, etc.). The record ("Songs from the Hydrogen Jukebox") sold a couple thousand copies, got great reviews, then vanished. It shows up every ow & then on Ebay for $25. The guys went on to do lots of cool things, but are still quite proud of "Hydrogen Jukebox." Buy it now and see why.
