Rise to thy occasion.
God is able to do all things Rise the Album debut by Rob & Aurae is finished, and it is Purchasable. So call the radio station and ask for it to be played. Its song''s comprise an outline of the evangelistic call of God''s Ecclesia Rob was inspired by the Lord to write this gospel Album. He had just moved to a room in Jamaica Queens. He bought a fifty-dollar keyboard from Radio Shack. He had just finished a song writing course at kings borough college. He began to write lead sheets. This gave the focus to the melodies, lyrics, and chords, of the songs that God had given him. With no elaborate equipment 20 songs were written. Rob had left his equipment with his friend Desmond, for a while he didn''t have a place to stay. So when he finely settled into a room, he didn''t move his equipment in right away. Actually he wasn''t sure of its condition, being it was there for quite a while. So that''s why he brought a radio shack keyboard this enabled him to work out the chords to his songs, it was very small in size and battery operated. On completion of the songs the lord led him to go visit Desmond and there it was his production equipment; A k2ooo rack mount and a Roland Dance MDC1 module. so now he could at least get started on the production. When he met his fiancee; Joyce she helped him buy a PC. He then equipped it with Logic software so he could begin to work on the vocals as well as the music. Robert was playing organ for Greater Emanuel Baptist church. He always felt that to learn his mothers style of traditional gospel was what he needed to be a better musician. He wrote a song called tears of Joy and he could hear his mothers voice singing it. He was working wedding with the Marty Stevens band and Marty Stevens had past, but at the funeral he realized that something was missing in his life. You see the Marty Stevens band was a family of musicians comprising of his two sons and himself, so at the funeral they played songs in their father''s memory and Rob realized that they were blessed because of that. So he decided to start singing with his mother. Finely he called his mother and she felt that his music was anointed. She started learning the songs and they became a dual act. So it was off to Harlequin rehearsal studios to learn the material, because he did not have the space to rehearse and he could not belt out the vocals to get the maximum performance, this lead to his mother playing again. She had stopped playing piano. But it was just like riding a bike, you never forget. By the time pre production was finished they started rehearsing the tracts at A.M. studios on 30th st. The lord led him to call Tom McConnell they worked out a deal to do an album. This led to his completion of Rise. Tom McConnell was a Producer with a track record and also a great engineer. The Album features a host of Musician and Vocalists. All thanks to Almighty God. We all can r00ise to the occasion of Redemption.
