Details:
Born in LaPorte, Indiana in 1980, Robert Sabie Jr. spent a lot of time growing corn (not really). Being in a tight knit community with good friends and a close family made the everyday life of small town USA tolerable.

While in high school Robert worked as part of a set-up crew for an eighteen piece big band. This sparked the initial flame for his love of music in all generas. With the money from the band Robert saved his money up and bought his first guitar. After playing for a year, the guitar position in the big band opened up. Robert was propositioned to learn a little jazz guitar in return for playing with the big band. After many months of determined practice, Robert became the new guitarist for the Tom Milo Big Band in December of 1995.

Robert had a unique opportunity of playing with very talented musicians in the big band. Playing almost every weekend, performing started to work its way into his blood.
The stint with the big band lasted until August of 1998 when he packed up and moved to Muncie,Indiana to attend Ball State University.

Robert''s intentions when going to Ball State were to be a music major and get a degree in music engineering. All those dreams were crushed after an accident involving laziness and beer. During his freshman year Robert met Billy Cox and Andy Stout and formed a cover band named Cosmo Joe. With luck and talent on thier side Cosmo Joe added members Josh Bonham and Ryan LeCount and managed to captivate audiences all over Indiana. Over the two and a half years Cosmo Joe was together they played sixty-four shows. Tensions and members moving in different directions slowed Cosmo down to a hault May 2001.

Recently Robert moved from Indiana to Bellingham, WA and co-founded the band Street Named James https://www.tradebit.com .
