Hello,
I am Ruby Cook, country gospel singer and songwriter. For me, music is a ministry. I have felt for a long time that "Country Gospel" songs could reach a lot of people because of the "style" of music. Each song I have written has a story behind it and a message in it, inspired by my Lord. The Word teaches us that as God helps us, we are to help others. That is my desire... to point others to Jesus Christ through songs HE has given me. With Him, all things are possible.
I''m excited about my latest project, "I Gotta'' Reason For Livin'' ", just recorded in Branson and available on CD and Cassette. Other works available on CD and Cassette are "Love Like I''ve Never Known Before", also recorded in Branson, and "I Have the Victory" recorded in Nashville, TN. All 30 songs are original compositions and registerd with BMI.
I am a member of the "Country Gospel Music Association", and the "Gospel Praise Gathering", both headquarters in Branson, MO. I attended Southwest School of Broadcasting in Springfield, MO, receiving my D.J. license. I am a part of the worship team at Union Grove Church in Aurora, MO; where my husband, Bryan, is pastor. I enjoy singing in area churches, special city functions, benefits, nursing homes, senior centers, ect.
Bryan and I have four children and make our home in Marionville, MO, home of REAL, white squirrels.
