Sam Look
In an attempt to combine the musical sounds of legendary bands like Def Leppard and Bon Jovi, with the more modern sounding lyrics of Creed and Matchbox 20, Sam Look has combined a retro sound with a modern delivery that is sure to please melodic rock fans everywhere.
He began his career by completing his first album, entitled "Me Against Myself" in October 2003. A singer/songwriter, he hired musicians to perform the background music on all tracks so he could pursue his dream while learning how to write and record. Along the way, he learned how to write songs and how to listen to feedback and critiques while slowly crafting his own lyrical approach and vocal delivery.
"Me Against Myself" is a compilation of stories and events in his life that are easy for the average person to relate to. It was the beginning of a learning process in Sam''s career as an artist and is a demo cd.
At this moment, Sam is working on his second album with a brilliant young producer named Rodney Gene. He is hopeful that the album will be completed and for sale by January or February of 2006. The album will mark trememdous growth in Sam as an artist and as a person. Three or four songs off "Me Against Myself" will be reworked and redone and sound the way they were supposed to sound.
