Biography
Mike Sandwich, a high-spirited indie-pop band, formed in New York City in early 2001. Their music and background are firmly rooted in the D.I.Y approach while their sound and live show draw from The Flaming Lips, Supergrass, The Pixies, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Manchester sound.
Mike Sandwich music has been featured in film, TV and radio including The Tribeca Film Festival in NYC and on the A&E network.
Most recently, Mike Sandwich was asked for the second year in a row to play Boston''s Walk for Hunger on the Boston Common main stage. They have also worked with The Capital District''s Regional Foodbank in Albany to create benefit performances as well as with The City Harvest in New York, NY.
