She has studied music since the age of 6, receiving multiple honors ratings in performances, music scholarships, and won numerous contests. She graduated from the high school music program that The Artist, formerly know as Prince, attended, and played in a state champion Wind Ensemble with Michael Bland who later became Prince''s drummer.
