"Every Mile" is Say ZuZu''s first release since 1999s "Live," and their first studio effort since 1998s "Bull". 3 more albums ("Highway Signs & Driving Songs," "Say ZuZu" and "Take These Turns") had been released independently between 1995 and 1997.
The band''s most recent studio effort "Every Mile" is clearly the most musically mature. From the musicianship and production to the songwriting and lyrics, "Every Mile" rocks, rolls, and twangs with an intensity and purpose that shows these guys are serious about the music stuff.
Say ZuZu play insurgent country - or roots rock, or https://www.tradebit.comntry, or folk-rock, or whatever it''s called - a mixture of the Pawtuckets, Dashboard Saviors, Bottle Rockets, Slobberbone or Whiskeytown.
