Biography
DeVon Yachin Ellis a.k.a. Severe born April 18, 1978 in Chicago, moving back and forth from the Chi to the Burbs DeVon started rapping at the age of 12 years old. During his younger years he performed in many talent shows and did performances on stage with his mother/manager LaCarrol Ellis, doing fund raisers to earn money for his school and Little League Baseball team. At the age of eighteen DeVon started performing in talent showcases at community colleges and universities throughout the Chicagoland.
DeVon a.k.a. Severe/artist/writer/producer released his first CD, Severe My Lifestyle/Da Ghetto Shakespeare in June 2001 still on-line at https://www.tradebit.com. Severe is in the studio recording his third CD. His newest CD Severe-Last Of My Tears/Love It Or Leave It released on May 30, 2005. In stores now!!!
