Her journey into music began in the church where she began singing in the choir. As she continued to grow with the music, and fell deeper Into it''s realms, she experienced all types of sounds and singers and grew a respect for all types of music. She viewed music as a creative expression of love, joy, pain, anger, frustration, peace, and happiness. Sheena began writing her own songs when she was in highschool. She started off writing contemporary gospel songs, and the branched out to write other music. However, the road to Her first creation was not an easy one. Sheena went to college after highschool and graduated with a BA in Biology and later a BS in Clinical Lab Science. Though she enjoyed the field of science her passion would always lie somewhere else. That somewhere else was in the music.
Her music began to call her back and she could no longer ignore the uncontrollable undeniable force that her love for music was greater than anything she was applying herself to. With this in mind she began to work on her first project simply named SHEENA. Although her full name is Rahshida Seion Wilson, her mother gave her the nickname Sheena when she was just a little girl. The name Sheena kinda stuck with her growing up. Sheena decided to ask her talented family members to be a part of her first musical project, and they gladly agreed to be a part of it. It was one of the best family reunions of all time. A great time was had by all, and Sheena had the best time of her life listening to the finished project and collaborating with family to put it into motion. Sheena has truly been blessed. Sheena is a songwriter and singer. She wrote all the songs on her first project and executive produced it. This young lady has got talent! You better watch out cause it doesn''t stop just there! Sheena will continue to write songs, sing, and create new projects. She is determined to make her passion a reality.
