Shamir aka (Blaze) born Shamir Wilkes in 1988,in Atlantic City,New Jersey. But now calls home in Jacksonville,Florida
started performing at the age of six. He discovered his lyrical talent at the age of twelve. When he was asked by his middle school class to do a rap song that someone else had written for him to perform in a talent show. Everyone was blown away by the way he delivered the rap. That encouraged Shamir to continue rapping and writing for himself and along with that amazing talent came his production skills. Which he gain while in high school in music class. He got familiar with different instruments. Which helped him develope different beats for his music. He not only is a rap/hip hop artist but a bonified songwriter and producer. He has been influenced by alot of the top rap artist of today such as Tupac,Ludacris,Biggie,and Nelly. But he has his own style clearly and can definitely hold his own with the best of them. His style is like no other out today.
