Steve Thompson is a guitarist/drummer/vocalist based in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. He has been playing and recording music for over 15 years both in bands and as a solo artist. Steve''s music is a blend of wide ranging styles including rock, folk, pop, alternative, metal and house/techno.
"This album is a natural progression from my previous albums. I think the sound is more consistent - I''m finding my ''style''. I''m in a pop/rock vein with this one, but with layered keyboards and vocals. It''s a bit darker and the themes at times are a bit more poignant, but there''s enough ''up'' songs to not make it depressing. There''s some lighter and melodic stuff as well. As usual there''s a lot of variety! I don''t think any one will be disappointed."
