He has shared the stage with such greats as GRITS, T-Bone, and Verbs! His debut independent release Off The Hook is an album that takes a hard look at what life is really about and stays away from the cliches of Hip-Hop music. He is not afraid of opinions that say he is too real and too honest. In fact in today''s society he hopes his realness will show the youth of today a message of hope.
Sir Grogan has been in hip-hop music since age 13, and in 1995 he formed Floetry-a group that received high praise by the Oklahoma City indie scene. Playing mostly youth groups and outreaches Floetry soon recorded their first project, receiving some rotation on KOKF 91 FM in Oklahoma City. In 1998 Floetry broke up which left Sir Grogan back at square one.
Sir Grogan began writing for his solo project and soon felt a call to youth ministry. He worked in full time youth ministry for 4 plus years and never really quit music or his desire to do it full time. He entered the studio in March 2002 and began work on Off The https://www.tradebit.com complete, his hopes are that his debut album will truly impact the lives of today''s youth.
Sir Grogan is the real deal and his life speaks a message of a real relationship with Jesus Christ, not just a phony man-made religion. If I don''t do music for Jesus and his message, then what is the point? says Sir Grogan. I want people to enjoy my music, but more importantly I want them to really get my message.
