Steve Montgomery is a Solo Artist, Composer, Producer who takes the term ''one-man-band'', to a techno-logical conclusion! Hailing from Nelson BC Canada, he keeps his edge by rocking the local area fronting "Three Chords and Dirty" and plays bass occasionally with "BCDC," a local AC/DC tribute band. In 2002, Steve composed and produced a music soundtrack for an airing BRAVO! TV music video called, "The Muse: Chameleon/Fire." Steve''s musical influences include Tom Petty, The Beatles, BTO, Colin James, The Guess Who, Grand Funk, Foghat, April Wine, Bryan Adams, Tom Cochrane, Kim Mitchell, The Eagles, Deep Purple, Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Stevie Ray Vaughn, BB King, Melvin James, but he owes the most inspiration to the late, great, Nelson blues legend, Bobby Stewart.
On his second CD entitled "Alone In A Room," Steve does all of the songwriting, instrumentation, vocals, engineering, mastering, and production (including the CD artwork) at SkipRock MultiMedia in Nelson.
