When we started writing the music for "A Chorus of Fools" we began to realize that most of the music was running in the same vein...some of it dark, some of it even a little violent, but all of it questioning the social issues that we''ve come to face in the last few years. If you know us, you might think the title refers to who we are but in reality it''s about the voices we hear in the media, in our daily lives and in our government....all trying to get us to believe what they want us to believe and trying to prevent us from thinking for ourselves. Losing our friend in Iraq opened our eyes forever to the crap that the government and the monetary powers that run our country from the back rooms are trying to shove down our throats. The more the common man lays down for it, the more of our freedom disappears. "A Chorus of Fools" begs each of you to use your voice, and join together to find a way to take back this land of ours. Writing it, and making it, was a roller coaster ride we won''t forget. The last song, "The Life Not Led", tells you that you''ve got to find your own way. Take in what you hear from us, and all your other favorite bands, take whatever influence from it that you can and make your own decision.
We spent the last two summers touring and meeting fans across the country...sharing the music and hanging out with some incredible people everywhere we went.
We love music, we love our fans and most of all we love playing live and getting the crowd involved in the show. We call ourselves a rock band, with heavy punk influences and we DO love to ROCK. We grew up on Green Day, the Bouncing Souls, Social D, Nirvana, Metallica and so many more that you’ll probably pick out in our style. We have a lot of original material, but when we play live we also love playing quirky covers that no one else plays from the 50’s and 60’s all the way up through the current day. You never know what we’re gonna do up there but you always know a good time will be had by all.
We especially dedicate the CD to our friend Aaron W. Simons who lost his life fighting in Iraq in spring 2006…your death made us question everything we know and we will never forget you!!!
