Germane’s saga began near Frankfurt,Germany, where he spent his early years amassing one of the biggest and best hip-hop record collections in the Rhineland. Driven by his love for the music and his budding skills, Germane set out for the San Francisco Bay Area. There he began honing his abilities with the Oakland-based collective that includes renowned rappers Knobody and Poeticali Disturbed , shaping his "clean-cut but get-down" kinda style into an art form of its own. “Music is my voice, and I want to use it wisely” is Germane’s motto, and he doesn’t pull any punches on The Pledge, mixing calls for communal and planetary love into songs that could go up against any contemporary hip-hop tune.
