I had a bunch of songs and in one take put them together with very minimal mixing and overdubbing in a cheap low end studio. Just a way to get ideas that were in me out, presumably to make way for more ideas. It was fun and is, though it’s not how I play these songs now, and some I’m not sure I’ll ever play again. It’s still a nice array of my songs. I find when I listen at times that I can''t stand certain songs that later I enjoy coming back to, and vice versa. Sort of like life with ups and downs and moods and patterns and relative to what else is going on in my life. I guess that''s how it is about listening to and liking or disliking any music, or even anything. It''s just even a bit more interesting when it''s mine under consideration. I mean, at times I''ll not be able to stop listening to Goat''s Head Soup by the Stones for instance, or the song "The Crystal Ship" by the Doors, and other times, I can''t get enough of Wilco''s "Passenger Side", or even an oldie operatic rocker like "Heart of the Sunrise" by Yes, or "Magician''s Birthday" by Uriah Heep. Right now in fact I’m listening to Captain Beefheart of all things. Anyway, I’m babbling now. Bargain wise, $5 for 20 song for a great single disc package, or $6.99 to download em (get the cd, it''s cooler and cheaper!), how can you go wrong? Enjoy no matter what, that’s for sure.
